Over on my other blog located here, I recently mentioned that CVS upped its dividend. Well, it wasn't the only company to do so last week. Industrial concern Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) also boosted its payment to shareholders.
The maker of engines hiked its quarterly dividend 40%. Nice! What's more, that's the third hike in two years.
While the broad indexes continue to wallow, stocks like Cummins are proof that investors can get paid more and more by just waiting patiently.
